These terms apply when you download, buy or play a game or app from UX Productions AB.
They cover every platform, unless a game has its own terms or a section below says otherwise. Your rights under consumer law always apply, and nothing here takes them away.
Who we are
UX Productions AB (org. nr. 556947-8661), Lyckåsgatan 3, 633 58 Eskilstuna, Sweden, develops and publishes the games and apps, including The Perfect Robot, The Perfect Part, The Perfect Quest, The Perfect Murder and The Perfect Race.
Using the games and apps
- You may install and use them for your own personal, non-commercial use, on the devices the store you got them from allows.
- We, or those who license to us, keep all rights to the games and apps and their content. You get a right to use them, not ownership of them.
- You may not copy, resell or redistribute them, or take them apart to get at their code or content, unless the law gives you that right.
- You are welcome to share screenshots and videos of your play.
Purchases
- When you buy from the App Store, Google Play or Steam, or buy inside an app you got there, that store handles the sale, the payment and any refund, and its own terms apply as well. Please contact the store about these.
- Purchases on the web in The Perfect Race and The Perfect Murder are covered by our terms of sale.
- What you buy is digital content that is available straight away. If you are under 18, only buy with the agreement of a parent or guardian.
Online play
- Be fair and respectful to other players. Do not cheat, harass anyone, use offensive names or text, or try to disturb the game or its servers.
- We may remove content, or limit or end access to online features, for anyone who breaks these rules.
- Online features need an internet connection and depend on services from others, so we cannot promise they are always available.
Updates and availability
We may update, change or discontinue features, for example to keep a game secure and fair, or for ordinary product reasons. Online features and a game's availability in a store may end over time. This does not affect your statutory rights if what you bought is faulty or is not what was described.
Our responsibility
We do our best to make the games and apps work well, but we cannot promise that they are free of errors or work on every device. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect loss, such as lost saved data. We never limit a responsibility that consumer law does not allow us to limit.
Terms for a single game
The Perfect Race has its own terms, which apply to that game if they differ from these.
Privacy
Our privacy policy and the privacy notice for the games explain how we handle data.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date shown at the top.
Governing law and disputes
Swedish law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live.
If something goes wrong, please contact support@uxproductions.se first. If we cannot agree, consumers in Sweden can refer the dispute to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), and consumers elsewhere in the EU or EEA can use the out-of-court dispute body in their own country. A dispute may also be brought before the competent Swedish courts, and a consumer may instead bring proceedings in the courts of their own country of residence.
